We are dedicated to producing dachshunds with outstanding pedigrees and conformation. While it may not matter to everyone, we believe it's essential that our dogs hail from AKC champion lines and recognized kennels, adhering to AKC standards. Our commitment to quality ensures that each pup embodies the excellence we strive for in every generation.
Our journey in breeding began with memories of my grandmother raising Manchester Terriers, those adorable black and tan coats stealing my heart every time a new litter arrived. Meanwhile, my husband's upbringing was filled with Dachshunds, each affectionately named "Sam" again and again down the years. His beloved Sam, a red smooth coat, was our vigilant guardian, never hesitating to let me know if I got too close.
Now, with over 30 years of dachshund experience, we're here to assist you in finding your perfect doxie companion. We're excited to share our passion for these wonderful breeds with you, and we can't wait to be a part of your journey in welcoming a new member into your family. With six people in our household most days, our pups are showered with affection, providing them with a solid foundation for a smooth transition into your home. Kid-tested and family-approved, our dachshunds are raised with care and attention, making them the perfect addition to your household.
Nestled on a beautiful, wooded lot in the mountains of Western North Carolina, our home hosts an expanded play area that provides a natural haven where our pups can frolic amidst deer, turkey, and raccoon visitors.
While the occasional bear may test our garbage security, our dachshunds remain untouched, a testament to the intelligence that defines these charming creatures.
